These terms describe the conditions for using the CliqNews website and its reader and contact services. Please read them alongside our Privacy and Cookie policies. CliqNews provides editorial information for general interest. Content is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other qualified advice. Do not make important personal decisions solely on the basis of a headline, summary or article. Consult an appropriate professional where needed.

News changes. Articles and summaries may become incomplete or outdated after publication, and errors can occur despite review. Article languages and dates should be read in their stated context.

Rights in original CliqNews material belong to their respective rights holders. Imported summaries identify and link to the original publisher; the original reporting remains the property of that publisher or its rights holders. Attribution does not grant permission to copy a full protected article or image.

You may share links to our pages. Any quotation or reuse must comply with applicable law, preserve attribution and not misrepresent the source or meaning. For permissions beyond what the law allows, contact editorial@cliqnews.com or the original rights holder as appropriate.

The Daily Cliq reader subscription is free and records your consent to receive CliqNews emails. It is not a paid product, a user login or an editorial account. Saving a subscription does not guarantee a specific email schedule, uninterrupted delivery or access to additional services. You can request removal at contact@cliqnews.com.

Staff accounts are for authorised editorial users. Keep credentials private and do not share access or attempt to use permissions you have not been granted. We may restrict access to protect the website or respond to misuse. Reader subscriptions do not confer staff privileges.

Use the contact form for genuine enquiries, corrections and feedback. Provide accurate contact information and do not submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, deceptive or rights-infringing material. Do not impersonate another person, send spam or use the forms to distribute malicious software.

Submitting a tip or proposal does not guarantee a reply, publication, payment or a confidentiality arrangement. Any commissioned work or commercial contribution requires a separate agreement. Do not send sensitive source material through the ordinary contact form; discuss a suitable method with the editorial team first.

Advertising slots marked “Your Adverts Here” indicate available enquiry opportunities. They are not a binding offer, confirmed booking or promise of audience size. Links to news publishers and social media take you to services operated by others. Their terms and privacy rules apply on their sites. A link is not an endorsement of every statement, product or practice on the destination website, and we do not control its availability.

Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the site, exploit security weaknesses, harvest personal records or overwhelm forms with automated submissions. Do not reproduce protected content in bulk without a lawful basis or permission. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to contact@cliqnews.com rather than exposing reader information.

We may update, remove or pause content and features for editorial, maintenance or security reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content or successful delivery of every form submission. Where permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on general editorial information or by independent third-party services. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
